  • Apple iPad Gad-Fy

This tablet review is about the newly launched Apple iPad, whose cost is kept lower so that more people could afford. The Apple iPad is available in two variants namely WiFi, Wifi+Cellular. The functions of both the variants are same.

Introduction

Apple has its own standards and name in the market and has been successful in maintaining it for years now. Talking about the new product, Apple has launched its new iPad (2018), price for which is kept a little down to earth to make the piece extra affordable. It comes with an unexpected but true A10 chipset and 2GB RAM that look out for the need of the power by the users.

Sneak Peek

The iPad (2018) features a New Gen A10 Fusion Chip with 64-bit architecture and M10 coprocessor that powered iPhone 7 and 7 plus. Combined with 2GB of RAM, the device has a very impressive power and smoothness. The device comes in two variants having 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, though the device is not made for extremely high usage, it still does not lag unless you use one high end application on it. Apple has shown some extra power here and the device works perfectly smooth, the apps start and close easily, the animations are amazing and the price is pocket-friendly.

LOOKS LIKE CHANGE DOESN’T SUIT ON APPLE!!

Traditional Design

The tablet still has its iPad special design intact but it still looks very good. The button below the display with TouchID integration is all there. While it is a little thicker than its predecessor, Apple has consistently concentrated on the performance lately without a noticeable change in the design of the iPad. Hopefully, this design is not a forever one but it still look premium and comfortable in hand. The thick bezels around the screen make it comfortable to hold while using. The screen is, however, not laminated that means the screen and the upper touch panel has some distance in between, it feels kinda plastic y and cheap.

FINE DISPLAY AND LOUDER NOISE

Display Is Not That Great But Audio Is A Little Better

Looking at the price for an Apple product, the 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 resolute screen is fine. As discussed above the screen is not laminated, but it also lacks a faster 120Hz refresh rate and temperature color adjustment. The display on the Pro version is a lot better but for this price, you may not think about it too much as it serves its purpose well enough. The speakers on the device are like-before grill shaped stereo ones as the design of the device is hardly changed. But the quality is improved a lot, if you have used some of the high end devices from Apple, you may realize that this is better than them.

FEELS LIKE ITS RACING!!

Superb Performance and Apple Pencil Support

Apple has unexpectedly tweaked up the specifications in new iPad (2018) by giving an A10 fusion chip. About performance of the device, it works efficiently and smoothly through everything. It works fast, does not lag and responds brilliantly. Apple pencil is a great tool for some people while for some it is useless. Beside the fact that the Apple pencil costs 33% of the tablet, it is still tough to take notes on the iPad because of the non-laminated screen and the glide it experiences on the surface. Meanwhile, it is a great tool for the artists and on other apps that require the stylus support.

SAME JUICE FOR LESS MONEY

Battery Life Comparable To It’s Costlier Relatives And Okay Camera

Apple claims the battery life of the iPad (2018) to be 10 hours straight and in reality it is close. The tablet experimentally delivers enough juice if you are a low end user and do not require some heavy working. The camera on the tablet is decent 8MP on the rear and 1.2MP on the front. iPad is not mush used as a camera device so Apple has not improved the camera sensor on the iPads for a while now. While it performs great in daylight, the low-light quality is poor.

Software

The iPad 2018 comes with iOS 11.3 and software is the part where Apple devices prove to be better with simple user-friendly interface. The background activity and less processes combine out to use less juice than android devices.

Some IOS exclusive apps are quite better than android apps and also, Apple user are willing to spend money on software.

Conclusion

The world of iPads might be small but is not underrated. iPads are considered to be expensive devices that everyone can not afford, this new iPad is a step towards improving the affordability of the device. We recommend the iPad 2018 to those who are not much of workers and especially Apple has focused the specs for the students so this is more of a students’ device and is one of the best devices for that purpose. On the other hand, if you are looking for something to replace your notepad, this might not be a good option.
